Virginia
An editorial website for an author who intends to keep publishing — built so that what she writes becomes what a reader reads, without a developer in between.
Client project In development Delivery September 2026
Product capture
One composition, split down the middle: light on the left, dark on the right, nothing else moves.
§ 01
The premise
The author should not need the developer.
A book is not a launch. It is the first of several, and everything around it keeps moving after the build is finished.
- a book becomes an archive entry, a detail route, and a state the reader can act on
- an article becomes a post, a category the reader can filter by, and its own route
- a cover becomes a validated, resized, re-encoded image with a generated filename
- a testimonial becomes a quote on the public page
- a reader becomes a subscriber she can list, export or delete
Product captureDemo data
Her own panel. Books, articles, testimonials and subscribers, each with a screen behind it.
And then it stops
an event date
becomes a public listing — but there is no admin screen behind it.This one still needs the developer.
§ 02
The delivered editor saves and publishes in one action. Here they are separated, so the change of voice can be seen.
The signature
One record. Every surface answers.
Write the record and the whole sheet recomposes at once. It stays data until you publish it.

Product captureDemo data
The same moment in the delivered editor: the slug field left empty, the normalised slug previewed before anything is written.
A fixed capture of one moment. It does not follow the model above.
§ 03
From publishing to reading
The same text, set closer.
Raccolta di poesie
Eternamente Toska
Sample text. Not the author’s work.

The category filter is part of the route, so the filtered view can be shared and stays active after a reload.
§ 05
Technically bilingual. Editorial English content still in progress.

The English page says on itself that English editions are still being prepared. Routes and head elements are bilingual; the editorial content is not.
Product capture
The record on its Italian route. The same record, on its English route.

§ 07
Where the system stops
Client project. In development. Delivery September 2026.
Virginia currently runs locally. Here is what sits outside its scope, what is not built yet and what has not been measured.
Out of scope
Not an e-commerce platform. The only commercial step is an external link.
Not a newsletter campaign tool. Subscribers can be listed, exported and deleted.
Not a full event CMS. Events are displayed publicly with no admin screen.
Not a role-based CMS. Access is a single administrator flag.
No AI, no real-time.
Not yet
Not deployed. Every capture here comes from a local runtime.
Editorial content is not yet bilingual. The localisation architecture is.
Not measured
No analytics, traffic, conversion or engagement data exists.
Demo posts and subscriber addresses are synthetic and labelled as such, here and in the product.
